Featuring . . .Special guest speaker: Bill Clark, Director of Church Relations, International Justice Mission, Washington, DC
Bill Clark serves as the Director of Church Relations of International Justice Mission (IJM). IJM is an international human rights agency that rescues victims of violence, sexual exploitation, slavery, and oppression. Based on referrals of abuse received from relief and development organizations, IJM conducts professional investigations of the abuses and mobilizes intervention on behalf of the victims. Before joining IJM, Bill Clark was a lay leader at a fast-growing multi-ethnic church in California where he served on the Sunday preaching team and trained various church departments in the areas of spiritual formation, missions, small groups, and leadership development (from IJM’s web site at www.ijm.org).

Angong is from Southern Sudan, although most of her growing up years were spent in Kenya as a refugee. She graduated from Bluffton University in 2005.Her mother is currently a member of the Sudanese parliament and an advisor to the vice-president of “southern Sudan” (focusing on women’s and human rights issues).
Combined youth and children’s Sunday school classes are being planned as well as a special project to support and promote peacemaking. Watch for more details.
