Advent begins in the darkness and invites us to see our great need for redemption and deliverance--our need for the light. It is there that we wait in anticipation for the Messiah. And it is there that we can already see the signs of his coming. In Signs of Hope (1 of 4), Pastor David helps us to see that there is good reason to believe that the long winter will come to an end, for the snow is melting and the kingdom of God is sprouting leaves.

The belief that Jesus will one day return to earth is a central tenet of our faith. Jesus said he would return. So, all of orthodox Christianity testifies to the hope that Jesus will literally come again. Yet, we're not all in agreement as to what that will look like. How did such an important concept become so complicated, even bizarre? And why is it so critical that we exercise a disciplined imagination when interpreting Scripture? Listen to Pastor David share what the New Testament teaches about Christ's return, and why it matters that we hold to hopeful view of the future.
