Community Life

Faith Flourishes in Community

As an intergenerational congregation, Grantham Church seeks to facilitate opportunities for people from various ages and stages of life to walk with Jesus together. As we know and care for one another, our life together testifies to God’s goodness and grace.

FELLOWSHIP MEALS

FELLOWSHIP MEALS

1st & 3rd SUNDAYS @ 12PM in Fellowship Hall

Sharing life around the table is a primary way God shapes us as his people. Grantham Church is thrilled to continue partnering with One80 Ministries to host regular meals where friendships are made and deepened and we can celebrate God’s goodness and carry each other’s burdens. We serve one another tangibly and intangibly as we eat together. To get involved, contact Dawn Isley about volunteer opportunities: fellowshipmeals@gmail.com. There’s room at the table!

Fall 2025 meal dates are: September 21, October 5 & 19, November 2 & 23 (4th Sunday), December 7 & 21

MOMS TOGETHER

MOMS TOGETHER

1st WEDNESDAY of the MONTH

Are you a mom who wants to gather to connect, support and learn from other moms? We have a place for you! Our Moms Together group will meet the first Wed. of each month from 9:30-11, beginning Sept. 3rd, led by Melissa Cohen. Child care will be provided, it is informal, light refreshments will be served, and there will not be any homework. If you would like child care provided please register with Pastor Denise.

Want to support our moms? We have a place for you too. We need loving arms to care for the children of our moms. Please contact Pastor Denise if you can help in any of these ways.

LIBRARY BOOK CHAT

LIBRARY BOOK CHAT

The Library Book Chat meets to share informally about inspiring books, both fiction and nonfiction. When you have a book to present, contact Edie Asbury to set up a mutually agreeable time to meet, either by Zoom or in person, and other Book Chat participants will be invited to join the meeting. This is a great way to hear about what others are reading on their discipleship journey!

BLESS: EVERYDAY WAYS TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR

BLESS: EVERYDAY WAYS TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR

WEDNESDAYS, OCT 1 – NOV 12 @ 6:30PM | C7

As a people transformed by Christ, we desire for our friends and neighbors to experience the same grace and hope. But we often struggle with how to share our faith without being awkward or overbearing. In this 7-week discussion series, all are invited to discover and process together five everyday practices that will help us grow in authentically loving our neighbors. Grantham member Dave Howell will facilitate the group in following the book B.L.E.S.S.: 5 Everyday Ways to Love Your Neighbor and Change the World, which looks at the life of Jesus to uncover a relationship-driven paradigm of blessing others. Pick up a copy of the book from Amazon or any major bookseller. If you need assistance getting a copy, contact Pastor Melissa. If you are able, please RSVP by Thursday, Sept 25, if you plan to participate: mlowther@granthamchurch.org

SUNDAY, NOV 2 @ 12:15PM | C8-12

'Tis the season when we have opportunities to give gifts from the heart that make a lasting impact.  Join for discussion on Sunday, November 2, to reflect on the gifts we're giving this year and consider how God is inviting us to bless out neighbors and loved ones during the holidays...without adding clutter to the shelf or another event to the busy holiday calendar!  Enjoy lunch in Fellowship Hall as part of the Fellowship Meal, then bring your dessert to C8-12 for conversation.
