Graduates

Rites of Passage

Grantham Church loves to acknowledge all ages and stages of graduation. Whether it's a first grader mastering the art of reading, or a twenty-something mastering the Art of Business Management, we are honored to recognize each accomplishment in a Sunday service.

Graduate Recognition Sunday

Children in First Grade receive an NIrV Adventure Bible for Early Readers to help them begin their journey.

Accept my words. Store up my commands inside you… Look for [wisdom] as you would look for silver. Search for it as you would search for hidden treasure. Then you will understand how to have respect for the LORD. You will find out how to know God.” -Proverbs 2:1-5

Students graduating from Elementary School to Middle School receive an NIV Teen Study Bible (compact) as they continue their journey of faith.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” -Psalm 119:105

Students graduating from Middle School to High School receive a NLT Student Life Application Study Bible, Filament Enabled Edition; combining traditional study Bible features with the Filament Bible app.  The Filament app provides free, easily accessible resources from your smartphone or tablet to allow teens to explore God’s Word for an enriching experience of His presence.

The word of God is alive and powerful.  It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow.  It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.“. Hebrews 4:12

Students graduating from High School or Vo-Tech receive an NIV Telos Bible, created to meet the spiritual needs of high school and college students. These Bibles contain notes from members of the congregation for each individual graduate.

Telos – an ultimate objective or aim; a student’s guide through Scripture.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”  Psalm 119:105

Students graduating from any form of higher education receive a Devotion book to keep them in the Scriptures as they continue their journey in “the real world”.
