Youth

Youth Ministry at Grantham Church
Grantham Church youth ministry seeks to engage youth with the transformative power of the Gospel and disciple them following the relational model Jesus gave us so that they may grow spiritually. We do this by:
● Teaching youth to love God's church and integrating them into all aspects of church life in order to prepare them for life after high school
● Fostering life-long friendships across age groups
● Providing consistent leaders who share their lives and model what it looks like to follow Jesus
Church Life
Youth are encouraged to get involved in any area of the church they have interest in. We currently have students serving in the nursery, preschool, projection, worship team and ushering.
Prayer Partners
Research shows kids greatly benefit from having five adults other than their parents invested in their lives. Grantham Church aims to provide one of those other five adults to each Grantham Youth Ministry attender by the time they turn 13. We call these Prayer Partners (click for "job description").
Grantham Youth Ministry organizes a meal for parents, students and prayer partners to meet near the beginning of the school year, and we try to organize one other activity or event for connection throughout the year. Otherwise, we leave it up to the Prayer Partners and families to establish contact.
We are always looking for more adults that are willing to invest in the next generation. If you think you'd like to make a difference in a youth, please contact Chrissy Hoffner.

Making Memories
Youth have several opportunities through out the year to serve our neighbors near and far. Ministries we serve include: One80 Ministries, Salvation Army - Carlisle (My Brother's Table), MCC (Thrift on Purpose), Paxton Ministries, and New Hope Ministries. We also serve here at Grantham Church as well, as events like Trunks & Treats, Egg Hunt, and VBS.
Youth have multiple opportunities to have FUN during the year! We have several Game Nights with other local youth groups, as well as crazy Christmas events (2025's Thriftsmas!) and days for just being silly (Tubing! LazerTron!). We especially appreciate the hospitality of one of our own congregants that opens their pool to us each summer!
